Nia Black Belt, Move IT, and Nia FreeDance instructor
I began my Nia practice in 2007 after tentatively trying my first Nia class in Santa Fe, NM. Since that one class, I have been practicing on an almost daily basis, refining my skills and developing my commitment to finding joy and health through movement. I completed my White Belt in May 2011 and my Blue Belt in December 2012.
Nia has transformed me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I feel a connection to my body that I did not think was possible before I started this practice. My intent as a teacher is to support that mind/body/spirit connection for all of my students. As a musican, I also bring my own unique voice and connection to the music to every class.
